El estudio “La Próxima Despensa Global” señala que el desafío de encontrar formas de alimentar a una población mundial en rápido crecimiento “es la gran oportunidad de América Latina”.
Un “sistema agrícola más productivo y ambientalmente sostenible promete lograr la seguridad alimentaria mundial, así como el desarrollo de la región, el alivio de la pobreza y el progreso social”, subraya el documento.
