Mendoza Invest

Reasons to invest in Mendoza

Strategic Location

More than half of the goods transported by land from Mercosur to pacific ports goes through the Cristo Redentor Pass (through the Andes Mountains) located in Mendoza.

The Central Bioceanic Corridor is the most important trans-continental roadway in South America.

Mendoza is located along the route that links two of South America’s most important capital cities: Buenos Aires (1,000 km to the East) and Santiago de Chile (400 km to the West), representing the shortest distance between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. São Paulo, Brazil is located 3,200 km to the East of Mendoza.

Trade between Latin America and Asian countries is becoming increasingly relevant. Exports from Argentina to China, Japan and Southeast Asian countries have grown 180% from 2003 to 2011.

The government’s vision is to position Mendoza as the Mercosur Logistics Capital.
